Review of Norwex Products

Norwex Enviro Cloth
The first Norwex product that I was introduced to was the Enviro cloth.  It fascinated me that I could actually clean with just water and ONE CLOTH and not all of the various sprays and creams that were haunting my cleaning cupboard.

The first day with my Enviro cloth, I thought to debunk the "myths" I had heard about it.  Myths like, "It removes more than 99% of bacteria with ONLY water", or "It will cut your cleaning time by 70%", or that there would be no need to clean it after a days use because it was "cleaning itself".
So I wiped everything with that cloth.  After a few days I cleaned up a puddle of dog pee and thought that I would prove these claims wrong.  So, after wiping up the puddle, I rinsed the cloth once, put it in a plastic bag and set it on top of the dryer while a load of laundry was drying and came back to it the next morning.
I opened that bag fully expecting to be assaulted by the smell of dog urine...to no avail!  Nothing!  I could have gone and scrubbed down the kitchen counters with it for all I could tell!  I didn't, but I could have.
That was my first "Aha" moment with Norwex.
Then I tackled the red wine stain on the white porcelain tiles and grout.  Stain gone!
Soon I was scrubbing rust stains off the carpet, marker stains off the walls, sticky dust off the tops of the cupboards in the laundry room and kitchen...with water!  No soap!  No joke!
I was sold right then and there, but it just kept getting better and I could go on and on.

Here are the stats on the Enviro cloth:

  • Norwex fiber is 1/100th the size of a human hair and can hold up to seven times its weight in matter. As you lightlly wipe a surface, the microfibers attract and draw up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping t hem in the fibers.
  • Wherever you use an antibac cloth, it removes more than 99% of bacteria with ONLY water. There has been laboratory testing to back this claim up.  You do not need to use any chemicals whatsoever! You can totally stop buying chemical cleaning products because these cloth don't need them to get the job done!
  • It's interwoven with a silver agent that kills bacteria within a few hours of contact. This means that after you've wiped up the bacteria off a surface and rinsed your cloth, the silver actually destroys any remaining bacteria. The antibac agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfibers.
  • All Norwex microfiber is backed with an exceptional 2 year warranty.
Laboratory testing has proven that the Antibac Enviro Cloth is effective against E.Coli, Salmonella, Bird Flu, SARS and many other strains of bacteria.

Proven effective against:
E. coli
Klebsiella pneumoniae
Protues vulgaris
Salmonella typhi
Staphylococcus aureus
Streptococcus pyogenes
Candida albicans
MRSA (super bugs)
SARS
VRE
Scientific Studies Done on Norwex Antibac Cloth:
There is no limit to the number of places you can use your antibac cloth, but a few ideas of where it can be used are:
  • granite countertops
  • stainless steel appliances
  • bathtubs
  • counters
  • sinks
  • mirrors
  • walls
  • floors
  • cleaning your car
To take care of your Antibac Enviro Cloths:  When they need it, they can be washed and dried in your machines using any laundry soap. Dry them with low-lint items (eg sheets), because the microfiber will grab lint off other things in your dryer if it gets a chance! Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Bleach degrades the microfiber, and fabric softener coats the fibers and wrecks their grabbing power (Norwex dryer balls let you dry your laundry faster and without static - no fabric softener required!).
