The Beautiful Truth

I just received my DVD of the Beautiful Truth from Amazon.  There is just so much information there that it's mind boggling! I've watched it three times now.
The following is from the Gerson Media website: http://www.gersonmedia.com/DVDs.html

Garrett is a 15-year old boy living in the Alaskan
wilderness with a menagerie of orphaned animals. Growing
up close with nature has given him a deep understanding
of nutritional needs required by diet sensitive animals on
the reserve. Unfortunately, the untimely and tragic death of
his mother propelled him into a downward spiral and he
risked flunking out of school. This led to his father’s
decision to home-school Garrett. His first assignment was
to study a controversial book written over 50 years ago by
Dr. Max Gerson.

Dr. Gerson found that diet could, and did, cure cancer.
Gerson's pioneering theories were controversial at the
time (and even today), but Garrett took on the challenge of
researching this amazing therapy, drawing the interest of
his neighbors in the small Alaskan community. With the
help of Dr. Gerson’s daughter, Charlotte Gerson, and
grandson, Howard Straus, who gave him the ammunition
needed to go in search for the truth – Garrett brought
home a truth that would affect not only him, but his entire
Alaskan village – all of whom wanted to know if these
claims were true.

After a number of cancer patients, who were diagnosed as
terminal, shared their stories and their medical records
with Garrett, it became abundantly clear that, contrary to
the disinformation campaign spear-headed by the multi-
billion dollar medical and pharmaceutical industry, a cure
for virtually all cancers and chronic diseases does exist –
and has existed for over 80 years!

Garrett’s mission now is to tell the world.

Time to clean more than my house!!

  1. Hi Cassy!

I am a recent Norwex convert and totally, totally, totally in love. WOW. It has blown my mind... Super fast, super reliable, super high quality, and leaves my home super clean. :)
I stumbled across your blog today and truly appreciate this wealth of information! It's fun connecting with others with similar pursuits and convictions about health and the environment.

My background is actually in inpatient oncology (cancer) nursing, as a bedside RN, so this message and mission resonates with me deeply, having witnessed and helped many, many people through cancer diagnoses, from the beginning to the end. A blessed profession.

Hope you don't mind, but I couldn't help noticing your scrolling picks for personal care products. I'm sure that you have read enough to realize there is almost no legislation for safety in personal care (body, skin, cosmetic) products, and "safe" / "organic" / "mineral" are words with almost no meaning in that industry. The United States has not passed a federal law to regulate the ingredients used in personal care products since 1938. That's 77 years ago.

We are so careful with what's in our food, in our homes.... what about what's put on our skin (our largest organ!) day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year? Potentially toxic chemicals -- the same ones you are working to avoid via Norwex (bravo!!!), but being applied directly to your skin through sub-par, untested personal care products. Something to think about...

I implore you to read more here - http://www.beautycounter.com/our-story - and learn about my OTHER favorite company besides Norwex, called Beautycounter. I am proud to represent both companies, as their messages marry perfectly.

Please let me know, by all means, if I can give you more info or if you have questions. www.beautycounter.com/rebeccahubanks

CHEERS to a healthier, safer life --- and thank you again for your great blog!!
